Backstory and introduction…

Tyvar Kell is a Kagonesti elf, Ranger—one of the wild, freeborn elves of Southern Ergoth, more at home among the trees and cliffs than in any marble hall.

Elven events…

When the Silvanesti and Qualinesti elves recently fled their ruined homeland and arrived in Southern Ergoth, it was Tyvar who stood between his people and theirs. Chosen by Wulfgar, Speaker of the Kagonesti, Tyvar was tasked to negotiate, monitor, and guard to ensure the Qualinesti and Silvanesti cousins didn’t become conquerors once more.

It was in that tense dance of diplomacy and fury that he met Alhana Starbreeze from Silvanesti.  Where others saw arrogance, Tyvar saw pain. And where Alhana expected resistance, she found a ranger who listened.  From that fragile respect, a bond formed—one rooted in shared grief, duty, and a love for the lands they had both lost.

When Alhana Starbreeze journeyed to the ruined lands of Silvanesti, aided by a group of courageous heroes seeking her father, she discovered a terrible truth. Lorac Caladon—Speaker of the Stars and her beloved father—had perished, consumed by the corrupting influence of the green dragon Cyan Bloodbane.

Upon her return to Southern Ergoth, Alhana shared the tale of their quest and spoke of the valour and purpose of the heroes who had stood beside her. She implored the other Elven Speakers to set aside their divisions and join the struggle - to stand united with the humans and all free peoples against the Dragonarmies.

It was then that Wulfgar, Speaker of the Wilds (Kagonesti), rose and declared that Tyvar Kell would serve as an emissary and conduit between the elven nations and the wider world—an envoy of unity in a time of war. Solostaran, Speaker of the Sun (Qualinesti) and Alhana (Silvanesti) agreed.

Thus, Tyvar Kell embarks on his journey—not merely to follow in the footsteps of the heroes, but to stand beside them. In his mission lies the first glimmer, in generations, of elven unity across Ansalon.  He carries with him a sealed scroll, bearing the authority of the Elven Speakers. Its contents entrusted to be revealed only by the hand of one among the chosen heroes.

Encountering the group…

Tyvar, first arriving in HillHome, last know location of the heroes, with the help of the remaining members of the Hillhome council, managed to track them to the Garnet Gatehold mines (a lost dwarven red gem (Garnet and Ruby) mine near the Garnet Mountains, East of Solanthus).

When arriving in the mines, manages to evade an attack by two stone guardians, found 3 dead Orgres and crossed through a very large mining chamber.

Upon emerging from the mines, Tyvar catches sight of a massive blue dragon soaring overhead, its piercing cries echoing through the mountain peaks as it searches the landscape below.  Once the dragon departs and the skies fall silent, Tyvar, who has been tracking the party’s trail from Hillhome, follows their path to a secluded lake nestled in a rocky basin.

There, he finds the heroes locked in fierce battle against a powerful Water Elemental, a guardian of unknown purpose.  Without hesitation, Tyvar leaps into the fray—his arrows swift and sure—as he joins them mid-combat, aiding in the defeat of the creature.
