After interrogating the Hobgoblins, you are visited by Ruberik and 4 Dwarven guards, who take into custody the 2 remaining Hobgoblins.
You head to the Moldoon's Inn for a meal and drink. Heimdall is greeted by Kili Flamheart the Barmaid/waitress of the inn.
Kili’s eyes wide, heart skipping, “Heimdall Fireforge, is that truly you?”
She hurrying around the bar, barely stopping herself from running.. and hugs Heindall.
“Did you Miss this place or miss me, hmm?” “You’re late, you stubborn stone of a dwarf... I worried. Every night. Thought maybe the mountains had swallowed you whole.”
You sit down for a meal and drink, talk with Kili. Heimdall goes home to meet with is mother. The rest of the group stays at inn to rest.
Heimdall arrives at his home and is greeted by his Mama!
As Heimdall steps through the door, his mother sits by the fire, bent slightly with age, her hair more silver than gold now, her hands busy with a simple mending task.
She turns, Her face, lined with grief, softens into stunned wonder. "Heimdall... My little stone, is it truly you?"
She crosses the room in a heartbeat and crushes him into a fierce embrace, clinging to him as though afraid he might vanish again. Tears streak silently down her weathered cheeks. "Come. Sit. Eat. Tell me all…
You have a lengthy discussion with your mother about Flint, the letter she received, etc…
During that time, somebody knocks at the door. Its a messenger that informs that the coucil will meet much later in the evening, at 11 pm.
Before going to rest she mentions to you that you need to go see Kili, she's been asking about you and is very worried... and that Thrain, at The Hearthstone Exchange, received yesterday a shipment of odd trinkets, you might be interested in what he has…
You must come see me before you take your leave, again…
Heimdall returns to the Inn to join his friends and a certain red headed person.
At 11 PM, you meet with the Council.
-
Durik "Ironfist" Hammerhand
-
Ruberik Fireforge
-
Jacob Rockhelm
-
Torgun Mugdeep
-
Durn Shieldstone
The stone conference room is quiet now but you can feel the tense stillness of hard decisions left hanging. The torches along the walls flicker low, casting long shadows over the carved stone floor.
IronFist leans forward in his chair, the firelight catching the deep creases of his weathered face.
His gaze settles heavily on Heimdall — not unfriendly, but measured.
He says : "You ask about... the sigils."
A low murmur stirs among the gathered elders, some exchanging uneasy glances, others shifting in their seats.
Ruberick, seated at the table, clears his throat.
"Brother… what we speak of now stays within this chamber. Not even all the council’s kin know what we’re about to say."
Another elder, Torgun, speaks up:
"Magic circles… teleportation sigils — ancient and dwarven, are buried in secrecy for good reason. The knowledge of them is passed only to the council and a handful of trusted stewards."
A silence hangs — thick, unspoken.
Ruberick looks to his fellow council members, then to Heimdall.
"He’s blood. And the others… they brought him home." He gestures subtly toward the rest of the party. "Whether we like it or not, these are not days of comfort. They are days of necessity."
After a moment of tense deliberation, IronFist nods once, heavily. "Aye. So be it."
IronFist rises slowly and places a worn map of Ansalon on the table. “There are three active teleportation sigils that Hillhome"
1. Thorbardin — The Life-Tree of the Hylar
Hidden deep within the ancient dwarven kingdom of Thorbardin, the sigil lies within the Life-Tree of the Hylar.
The teleportation sigil is inlaid into of the temple floors.
Accessible only through the High Vaults and well guarded, it is rarely used and known only to a few among the the Council of Thanes.
2. Xak Tsaroth — Ruined Sanctum Beneath the Fallen City
Once a proud city of learning and trade, Xak Tsaroth has long since fallen into ruin — swallowed by the swamp, twisted by darkness.
The teleportation sigil lies in the sunken ruins beneath the collapsed temples, partially submerged and cracked, its once beautiful dwarven design now scorched by unknown forces.
3. The Garnet Gatehold — Lost Mine of Red Gemstone
South-East of Solanthus, nestled in the jagged peaks of the Garnet Mountains, lies the Garnet Gatehold — an ancient dwarven mining complex abandoned during the Cataclysm.
It was once the most bountiful source of red gem (Garnet and Ruby), in Ansalon.
The teleportation sigil lies in the Grand Surveyor’s Hall, a wide chamber where stone masons once blessed the gems before shipment.
IronFist crosses his arms and turns to face Heimdall. "We’ve kept this knowledge close for fear it would fall into enemy hands. If the Dragonarmies discover even one… they could appear at our doorstep without warning."
Another elder adds, Jacob: “So you’ll understand why we hesitate. Blood or not, Heimdall... trust must be earned.”
Durn : “If you mean to use these circles, it must be with purpose, and not without the council’s leave. We will not open our veins to the enemy through misplaced sentiment.”
IronFist: "You must promise that the information of these sigils will not be discussed outside of these walls."
The Teleportation Sigils are located in the Cemetery, one of the buildings hidden in a back room. Ruberik will show you the exact location.
22 H’rarmont (08:30)
Next day you visit the The Hearthstone Exchange and purchase some trinkets. Ring of elven dreams and Earthwarden's Boots.
