2 PM - 27 Hiddumont
Amidst the chaos of the city, the park wooded area is a haven of quiet refuge , the many trees providing a dense canopy that conceals your presence from prying eyes. A patrol of Draconians long the inner wall of the city, but you remain unseen.

A portion of the afternoon goes by around 4pm,
You hear the crunch of footsteps on the ground, careful but deliberate. Emerging from between the trees, a figure appears hands up, making his way toward your location.

The man says out softly: I am unarmed, my name is Devin, I mean you no harm
“Devin is the man from the community centre you’ve heard about from Lea the barmaid“
He has 2 other men just behind him carrying large bags. He nods at you all, comes to a halt, signaling the men to carefully set down the heavy bags on the ground.
In a low voice, meant to blend with the ambient sounds of the park, he says: I’ve come as promised. Lea wanted to make sure you’re well-equipped for the journey into the cold. These furs should help you stay warm when traveling south.
They begin to unwrap the bundles, revealing a collection of high-quality pelts. The furs are thick and dense, designed to provide ample insulation against the frigid temperatures. Devin continues quietly. : Lea insisted you have these; she’s worried about the cold you’ll face. And she also mentioned that you would pay generously...
You provided him 15 silver and 10 Gp for his furs.
Devin adds : Oh and if you are heading to Zeriak or the Glacier, use the Old Coast Road (doesnt show on maps anymore, but it’s a faster route.
He gives a final, reassuring nod and begins to retrace his steps through the park, blending back into the shadows.
6 PM - 27 Hiddumont
More footsteps approach, but this time it’s from the East side of the city wall. Its Dereck and Aaron, the Knights of Solamnia.

There were sent here by Lea after visiting the Inn of the red dragon. They got separated from the group when entering the temple.
Just before following you in, they spotted a large blue dragon over the city and decided to investigate. They found out that the Blue Dragon Highlord is a woman and is very well protected.
They returned to the temple/library, but you had left. They found a book about the dragon orbs but were not able to exit with it. One of his men vanished when exiting with the book. He has not yet been found or returned. They did learn about the two dragon orbs that may still exist, one at ice wall castle and the other in the Tower of the Stars in Silvanost.

Dereck mentions that his knights will head to Silvanost and get that orb. You mention that you will head to IceWall Glacier.

Dereck suggests you meet in Halter Wood in (4-5 weeks), where we can sail to Palanthas with the Orbs and regroup with the Knights of Solamnia and fight against the forces of Takhisis.

They head to the community centre to get furs for themselves.
As you exit the city on the other side of the wall, the early night light from the low rising moon casts long shadows on the walls. A cold breeze stirs, carrying with it an unsettling silence.
When climbing out of the sewers, the silhouette of a figure becomes visible against the wall. The figure is unmistakably human, but in a horrifying display, he is nailed to the outer stonework of the wall. His arms and legs are pinned with large, rusted iron spikes.
You recognise the man who had guided you into the city—once a friendly face—now hangs from the outer wall, grotesquely displayed.

Eldon Graymane’s arms are splayed wide,
and his face is frozen in a final, anguished expression.
His eyes and mouth are wide open, and his clothes are tattered and stained. The stench of blood hangs heavy in the air.
Without any warning, you hear, on the ground to you left and to your right a thud.
From out of nowhere a band of six Kapak Draconians appear and attack…
You have encountered this type of draconians before, but these ones look different…

After defeating the draconians, a patrol of 3 Baaz are attracted by the noise of combat and engage in combat. Once defeated; to avoid any other encounters, you make your way around the city to the northwest in direction of the coastal road that Devin suggested.

After some searching you manage to find the road heading south.

Now about 9pm, you make your way down the road looking for a place to rest for the night.
