Lord Soth moved inside the tower, and you followed him in.
Some combat with Soth, hold person, banishment
but in the end Soth used a Shadowstep Shard to
teleport away with Kitiara's slain body.

Two Draconians disguised as Knights of Solamnia entered the combat.
After their defete, Commander Durn requested your presence outside and to provide a account of what happened.

As the last echoes of battle fade, the fog that clung to the High Clerist Tower begins to thin. Light returns to the valley. And then, slowly the sunlight starts to dim.
High above the tower, the clouds part once more. A vast shadow pushes through them, wings unfolding until they seem to stretch from horizon to horizon. A large dragon emerges from the clouds, suspended in the open sky, a rider on his back. About 300 feet above the Tower.

Jack notices a faith tint of red in the dragon scales.

He simply hovers there, so high that you don't see any distinguable detail, only the huge size.

About thirty seconds pass. Then the dragon turns.
With a single, powerful beat of his wings, he climbs back into the clouds towards the East, pushing the clouds away and making place for the sunlight to return.
