Session # 105
1 Phoenix (0800)

Arrival at the temple, the front doors are all boarded up, accept for one.. all rooms and spaces are abandoned, main hall is littered with garbage and debris (tables, chairs, beds, etc)

This seems to be an old Monks monastery.

Investigation begins, rooms are checked, and the sound of a faint scrape of metal and the low murmur of guttural voices drifts down the corridor at an open doorway.

Tyvar opens another door that seem adjacent to the room with voices, but it’s not.

The door creaks open, and stale, dust-choked air spills into the hall. Inside are barrels and crates. Then, as the light pushes further inside, the darkness comes alive with hundreds of tiny points of red glimmering light—eyes, clustered and blinking from the walls and ceiling.

Small leathery wings ripples through the room.
The stillness breaks with a sudden, chittering shriek
as the creatures launch together, a living storm.
They surge toward the open door in a frenzy and attack.

In combat with these bird like creatures, attracts the attention of the voices in the other room.
4 draconians rummaging through crates and tossing aside debris exit to join the fight.

Once the combat over, and Tyvar de petrifies from the Draconian Death Throes of petrifying gas, you continue to investigate the temple. Taryn remembers the pathway and leads you to the underground entrance.

Down in the underground, tunnels have been dug out manually, very ruff looking.

As you descend and go into the underground area, you are intercepted by, what you believe to be, to what the monks referred are, as the Shadow People.

The Shadow People do not talk, they communicate telepathically. They seem aggressive at the start but some of the Elves recognise their language to be Elvish in origin, but corrupted or dialectal, and it’s strongly related to Drow dialects and perhaps linked to Underdark origins.

Silvart is able to somewhat understand what is
communicated and acts as an intermediate
between the groupe and the Shadow People.

After some attempts of communicating, they understand that
intentions and assist you in your search for the Dragon Metal.
They lead you to another Temple through a system of underground tunnels.

Arrived at, what seems to be a lower floor of another temple, you enter, discover corridors. One of them leads to a larger chamber where straw is spread out on the floor and a 20 foot large chain with a metal collar, opened that measure about 2 to 3 feet wide.
Approaching another door to the south, Heimdall, through the door, hears more than 3 Draconians conversing.
