26 H’rarmont (22h30)

Back at the forge, Theros telles the PC that he will gather all he needs to forge the lances and be ready in the morning and he hopes the Dwarves have all he needs to forge.

Laurana is worried that the Dwarves wont cooperate

Elistan is exited to see his old dwarven friends again.

Next morning, 27 H’rarmont (07h00)

Arrive at the Thorbardin sigil location, and make their way to the Council of Thanes

Guards at the exit of the teleportation arrival mention that they were expecting you. Please follow us..

7 Dwarven Guards, heavy armor escort you to the council chambers.

Council of the Thanes

Upon arrival, the lead guard asked you politely to wait outside the closed council chamber doors. He enters through a side door, the other guards move to the side.

About a minute later, the heavy gates swing open with the grind of ancient stone. The Dwarven guards salute as you are led through the doors or the council chambers.

In the Council Hall, a grand chamber lit by molten braziers and flanked by towering statues of the mountain’s great dwarven rulers.

Upon the raised dais sits Glade Hornfel Kytil, High King of Thorbardin.

As you approach, Hornfel rises to greet you—not with formality, but with open arms and a voice heavy with restrained emotion.

Hornfel “By Reorx’s forge, Elistan and my Friends, you’ve returned. When word reached me of your coming, I dared to hope—but I knew better than to celebrate too soon.”

Elistan smiles : oh I apologize that was me, I informed Hornfel of our arrival,... He used a sending spell

Hornfel : the Heroes who returned the Hammer of Kharas, restored honour, saved hundreds, and vanquished two Dragon Highlords.
And now… now you come once more, not for glory, but for a cause that reaches beyond all our gates.”

Hornfel returns to his chair, and with a discouraged sigh, lowers himself onto his throne as though the weight of the entire mountain presses on his shoulders.

“I know what you ask. I know what it means to use the Hammer of Kharas other what is what meant for.  It is not just a relic—it is the soul of our people.

But I also know this: the world outside burns. And no hall, no vault, no gate is thick enough to keep that fire out forever.”

He straightens his shoulders.

“You’ll have your audience with the Council. Each clan will speak, and every voice must be heard.  But know this—you are no strangers to this Kingdom. You have earned your place among us, and your cause is one we cannot ignore.”

“Make you formal request.”

Heimdall speaks and ask to use the Hammer of Kharas to forge the dragonlances..

Hornfel gestures toward the council's table where all the Thanes sit. Of course, one chair remains empty, its banner faded—the seat of the Kingdom of the Dead, where no living voice answers.

Thane Highbluph Bluph (Aghar)

Highbluph stands first, nearly tripping over his own beard as he scrambles to his feet, voice squeaky but enthusiastic.

"Huh, Big hammer go make big pokey sticks!, Hmm. Stab dragons!, Nice, Save dwarves!, yes. Maybe we get dragon stew again, eh?

Sure, why not! Let’em use it!"

Thane Gneiss Truesilver (Daewar)

Gneiss rises with slow dignity. His voice is calm, deliberate, and carries the weight of long memory.

"Kharas gave his life not for power, but for peace. The Daewar know the cost of war… and the cost of inaction.

If this hammer may forge weapons that will end this evil, then it must be wielded. I vote aye."

Thane Nograd Boulderaxe (Theiwar)

Nograd stands next. The youngest Thane at the table, but sharp-eyed and tempered by hard decisions.

"I took this seat after treachery nearly shattered our clan. I’ve learned that clinging to relics while the world burns is folly. The Theiwar vote aye."

He sits again, arms crossed.

Thane Rance Coalmount (Daergar)

Rance sneers, his words cold as iron filings.

"And if it is lost? If it is corrupted like so many things above? We’re to gamble our heritage on promises and faith? The Daergar vote nay. The hammer belongs to the mountain."

Thane Tufa Bloodeye (Klar)

Tufa leans forward slowly, a low growl in hie throat.   "I buried my loved ones when the dragons came. I saw their fire melt stone like wax. If these spears can stop them... then you can wield the hammer. But let no one forget: we will break bones if its use unwisely or not returned.

We vote Yes."

Thane Slate Armbreaker (New Neidar)

Slate stands tall and proud, his chest broad beneath a weather-worn cloak. He speaks like a commander.

"The Neidar have long lived among men and elves. We know their flaws—and their strengths. These warriors before us are the best chance we’ve seen in centuries to end a threat greater than any clan rivalry.

I vote aye

Thane Armand Kharas (New Hylar)

Armand rises, his expression already heavy with emotion. He looks not at the chamber, but directly at you—his voice quieter than the others, but all the more powerful for it.

“I walked beside them through fire and darkness. I saw what they risked to return the Hammer. They could have wielded it for themselves. Claimed it as conquerors. But they didn’t. They returned it to Thorbardin, where it belongs.”

He draws a breath, steadying himself.

“They gave back more than a relic. They gave back dignity. And in doing so, they reminded us what Kharas truly stood for.”

turning to face the other Thanes. He raises his voice

“This hammer is our bloodline. It is our legacy. But given the cruciale circumstances, I will trust them with it—as I trust no others. I vote aye.”

Empty Seat – Kingdom of the Dead

All eyes of the council turn to the empty seat.  The empty seat stands silent. Dust clings to its chair. The dead give no answer. But in that silence, there is a sense—perhaps imagined—that they listen.

High King Glade Hornfel Kytil

The High King stands once more, eyes closed for a breath as he weighs the voices of the other Thanes.

"Seven voices have spoken. Six stand in favour. One in opposition. The seat of the dead remains silent."

"So let it be known—the Council of Thanes grants the Hammer of Kharas into your keeping. Not as a gift, but as a charge. When your task completed, You will return it, or your names shall be cursed from now until the last ember dies."

He signals to the guards.

"Summon the Keepers. At dawn, the vault will open."

Hornfel : Tomorrow, you return to claim the Hammer of Kharas —

Heimdall ask about the dwarven forge.

Most of all the council members start to laugh...

Hornfel speaks : And where better than in our forge — the mightiest, grandest forge in all of Ansalon! Its fires burn with the heart of the mountain itself!  Every strike upon its anvil rings with the strength of our ancestors! With the Hammer in hand, you will craft works so fine, so fierce, that the bards will run out of breath before they finish the tale!"

Go now, for tomorrow will be a day of fire, steel, and glory — a day the mountains themselves will remember!

You all go to the Inn

Lozocc welcome you again: well you are regulars here. Nice to see you in good health ans spirits

Drinks, food.... I am at your service.

During the evening, one of the council guards come to the Inn and ask for your help. the North Gate entrance is under attack and King Hornfel has asked for reinforcements.

You of course accept...

27 H’rarmont (19h30)

The guard escorts you to the entrance of Theibarden, occupied by the Theiwar clan of dwarves. Armand Kharas is waiting for you there and brings you through to the North Gate entrance.

There is a another hidden small passage that can be accessed by the north side of the the outside Gate.

It take about 15 mins to exit and circle around to the main North gate entrance. 20 Dwarven Guards lead the charge.

When arriving 8 large Draconians, and an elf dressed in blue Armor are attempting to break through the sealed gate.

As soon as the Guards arrive on site to confront the intruders, they only see the draconians and the flight marshal barking orders at them.  You've seen this Flight Marshal and the dragon at the exit of the Garnet Mines.

a few seconds later, a large roar from above sweeps down upon the groupe of Guards, appearing out of the sky turning visible when releasing its lightning breath weapon on the group of Dwarves.

Now in combat with a Adult Blue dragon, 8 Traag Draconians and the Flight Marshal…
